Junior Sous Chef - Osprey Hotel & Spa

The Osprey Hotel + Spa are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Junior Sous Chef to join the team.

The Hotel

The Osprey complex, located in Naas, Co. Kildare is only 35 minutes from Dublin City, on Dublin’s Doorstep and close to all major routes. It includes the four-star Osprey Hotel, Osprey Spa, Osprey Conference Centre, life:health + leisure and time:bar + venue.

The Osprey Hotel is of contemporary style with 104 bedrooms including classic rooms, executive rooms, junior suites, duplex suites, luxury suites and two Penthouse suites with balconies. It has a dramatic foyer, glazed atria, mash:restaurant, Statler bar, Waldorf Lounge, ballroom and conference centre.

The Role

The successful candidate must have at least 1 year experience in working as a Junior Sous Chef within a four or five star hotel.

The ideal candidate will be a good team leader and have the ability to maintain high standards, and be able to work in a pressurised environment. Must have previous experience in restaurants, banqueting, bar food and pastry.

The duties will include menu and wage costing and forecasting, ordering, HACCP, menu writing, staff mentoring. This position will require you to work day time and evenings work five days per week on a 7 day roster.
